Hi Health-peers!
Minghui, 2 x Meihuis and me went to Radin Mas this morning...
Principal
Gave us a warm welcome, and was VERY interested in what we are offering.
She is willing to:
1) Offer a bit more funds in addition to HPB's.
2) Offer students of their Infocom club to help us with publication and design
However, it would seem that she sees us as planning to do a very big one in Radin Mas. After a short glance of the slides (We presented to Miss Doreen, PE 2 I/C) Hence the principal suggested:
1) We target both students and staff
2) She would like us to tackle the Health and Wellness (Formally TAF club) to cater for underweight kids this time.
3) Publish a booklet as a form of sustainment of our messages.
She indicated that she is advocating for this to gain a Gold award for the school's ENRICH program and then Singapore Quality CLass from here.
We did tell her that we have limited resources and time...She understood and let Miss Doreen handle from here on. I guess the principal is just an overseer...But she had some nice suggestions.
Doreen was also receptive to our pitchj. She will inform the health and wellness teachers (6 of them) of our intentions. Right now, she is asking us to do our student contact every tues 7.30 - 9.30am...That's the tentative slot.
Sorry...More to follow...Lecture now

Referring to the compiled timetable on our IVLE community, no one seems to be having classes on Tues morning, 730-930am as proposed by RMPS.
Yi Eng and I* have classes at 10am,
the rest at 12pm.
*alternate weeks
That's good to know...Well, will have to see the finalised info from the teacher, and from the outcome of the other pitches.

Thaz a pretty good start here.
P.S. Nice photo, Irene!
Hey, my worry here is this. Now schools are getting very competitive and their intent might not be for the welfare of the student but more so for the higher standards. Schools now very competitive.
Only concern, their 'lust' for power is over shadows the good intent they have for the kids.
