1) As for whether to strike a deal on the spot during the meeting....I think you have to let them know that your other teammates are also looking at deals with other schools. Additionally, let them know that you can give them a reply 2 days later (which is Thursday, after all the presentations at the schools have ended, I suppose?). Think we have to make a decision together as soon as possible on the day all pitches have been done. I think we have to be "fake" and keep their hopes high lest they change their minds last minute & we ended up with no schools. Btw, I think we need to come up with a 'contract' kind of thing so that the choosen school will not back off the last minute or change their decisions mid-way thru...
2) Did Hac really say that nobody will get 100% for the grades of this project? Cos according to my past experiences, to get 100% in peer evaluation means that the person has done his or her part and has contributed in quite a significant manner. I usually give my peers 100% unless they are freeriders or do not play their assigned roles as well as I expected them to. So, what I feel is that everyone in the group should get 100% of the grade unless he or she did very little work, or the lecturer wants a breakdown in percentage of workload of each member...

Agree with Mei Hui that we shouldnt strike the deal with the school immediately even if they are all ready for it.
Things we can tell the school (if they want to take up the project on the spot.):
1. That's great!
2. Still, I need to finalize some details with my team. Can I get back to you in a day or two?
3. Maybe send them an email of gratitude (on the day itself) for their willingness to take up the deal so readily.
Here in the email (or on the spot depending on your conversationl style), we can bring in how the project is open for application from other schools as well due to our time constrains previously.
(Don't make it sounds like we are choosy tho!)
In the event that we are not taking up the school
We can then give them a call/email of apology expressing our concerns, gratitude and well... gain empathy (for the poor NUS students) as to why we can't take up the deal in the end.
Alright... I sound like everyone is dying for us to go to their school.
That's my thoughts on this.
Cheerz.
