Issues to ponder over... BEFORE children's day

After session discussion:

The little detective at home...
We are deliberating as to whether each student should be given a disposable camera as pre and post evaluation.

A list of things will be given to the students where they should take pictures according to those themes.

This include pictures of food they eat, things they do. To make this more interesting for them, we would include questions that need them to take pictures of what their friends/family/teachers do or eat.

We intend to give this to the kids on Friday, so that they can return to us by Monday for analysis before the tues session. A post-evaluation will be conducted one or two weeks after our programme with them.

Please advise as to whether this is feasible by tomorrow?

Just to add on.

We actually felt that we needed more information from students to pin point issues they may have.

So we came up with either the disposable camera or a scrapbook idea. We felt that camera is more fun for the students (they will be more likely to snap pictures than complete a scrapbook), but one constraint is on costs, since we have to buy for at least 23 students.

Another issue raised is that last sem another group used this idea before. So I think we should think of whether this is effective in getting information we want v.s just following the idea.

Actually we wanted it to be a Thurs to Sun kinda thing so that we can have some weekdays + weekend stats. But quite lack of time.

Oh yah and any ideas for presents for Children' Day?

Hi,

I am ok with the disposable cam idea...A previous CFSC group used this method effectively too.

Thing is the $$$...Or can it be that one cam for 2 students?
